DTOC Supports Boy Scouts’ Pinewood Derby & Camp Binachi – 2024

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, DTOC President Todd Pope presented two checks to Choctaw Area Council Scout Executive, James Hulgan to help support Camp Binachi and the Pinewood Derby. The DTOC has been making annual donations to support activities at Camp Binachi as well as the Pinewood Derby for many years in recognition of the good work the Boy Scouts do in our community and in particular Choctaw Area Council’s effort to shape the futures of the youth of our community.

Camp Binachi has been the campground for the Choctaw Area Council for over 50 years. Camp Binachi has been continuously updated to make it better each year for Scouts and volunteers. The Pinewood Derby Race is a great opportunity for scouts to build their race cars, show them off and compete with other kids for trophies and bragging rights!
