DTOC Bill Herndon Memorial Scholarship Awarded for 2014

Susan Bozeman has been selected to receive the Downtown Optimist Club/Bill Herndon Memorial Scholarship at Meridian Community College. This $1,000 award is funded through the MCC Foundation by the Downtown Optimist Club and memorializes Bill Herndon who was a long term member and outstanding mentor to new members of the club.

Susan attended Union High School in Union, MS and is a 2012 GED Graduate of Meridian Community College. She is enrolled in the Health Care Data Technology Program at MCC and after graduation, Susan’s plan is to enter the Pharmacy Technology Program.
