The Parents Circle Support Group is a group of parents and guardians of children and adults with special needs. The group provides members with support, education and activities. Their goal is to provide various activities & sporting events throughout the year for our children that would normally be impossible for them to do otherwise. The Downtown Optimist Club has been making donations in various ways over the years, but this is our first year that we have included Parents Circle in our budgeted donations.

On Tuesday, September 29th, Parent Circle President Tracy Bragg and Vice President Lou Ann Henson joined the DTOC for lunch and Tracy Bragg shared a little about the upcoming events they had planned including their participation and partnership with TOPSoccer (read more) during the month of October. She also told us that some events have been dropped and others planned for the next year, but that they were always looking for new ways for the children to participate in activities to stimulate and encourage learning and interactions with others.

Everyone is invited to Parent Circle Meetings which are held on the 1st Tuesday of Every Month (except May, June and July) at the Rush Hospital Dining Room at 6:00p.m.
