DTOC Donates to Boys & Girls Club – 2020

Jermaine Harris (Director of Operations) for The Meridian Boys & Girls Club, was our guest speaker at the Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 DTOC meeting and he updated everyone in on the latest activities of the Boys & Girls Club. The biggest news was how the local Boys and Girls Club has expanded to include managing clubs in Philadelphia, Carthage and many other locations around East Mississippi.

Downtown Optimist Club President Ken Kercheval presented a check for $1,000 to support their efforts to assist the youth of our community. The DTOC has committed itself to giving the Boys & Girl Club an annual donation to assist with their efforts to to help the children they support.
