DTOC Donates To TOPSoccer – 2015

Neil Henry was our guest speaker on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 and he came to introduce us all to Meridian Youth Soccer Organization’s TOPSoccer program. TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program For Soccer) is a community-based program that offers all mentally or physically challenged or special needs children and adults the opportunity to participate in meaningful and fun soccer activities and games. The program is 100% staffed by volunteers that love soccer, but more importantly they love to give back to their community.

This year, events will be held on Friday Nights, October 9, 16, & 23 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Jaycee Complex, 1500 Old 8th Street. Each athlete will receive a t-shirt, a drink, a snack and a participation medal. The registration for this year has passed, but everyone is invited to come volunteer to help or cheer these athletes on to victory!
